Loader Operator - Faro, Portugal



The Loader Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to load and unload materials at construction sites in Faro, Portugal. This is a contract position with a salary of 1100$ per month. Accommodation will not be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain loader equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Load and unload materials such as dirt, gravel, or other construction materials
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to supervisor
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment
- Communicate with site supervisor to ensure timely and efficient loading and unloading of materials
- Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating a loader or similar heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on construction sites preferred
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair of heavy equipment
- Ability to speak Portuguese is an asset

Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to work in outdoor environments in all weather conditions. The Loader Operator may also be required to work extended hours, including weekends, depending on project demands.

Physical Demands:
The Loader Operator must be able to sit for extended periods of time while operating the equipment. They must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
