Hotel Sales Manager
As a Hotel Sales Manager in Faro, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to attract and retain guests in our hotel. You will work closely with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and drive revenue. This role requires strong communication skills, as you will be constantly interacting with potential clients and building relationships with them. Your goal will be to increase occupancy rates and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. This is a full-time position that does not require prior experience, but we do offer accommodation for our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and market research
- Build relationships with potential clients and maintain regular communication
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns
- Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and update management on progress regularly
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify competitors' strategies and adapt accordingly
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field (preferred)
- Proven track record in sales or marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build rapport with potential clients and maintain professional relationships
- Knowledge of market trends and competitors' strategies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing market trends
Salary: We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month.
Location: This position is based in Faro, Portugal.
Accommodation: We provide accommodation for our employees near the hotel.
Working Hours: This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week.
