Contract Web Developer in Almada, Portugal

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team in Almada on a contract basis. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites from layout to function. You will also be involved in creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, troubleshooting website issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of web applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain responsive websites with clean and efficient code
- Collaborate with designers to ensure the best user experience
- Troubleshoot website issues and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Optimize website performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
- Stay updated on emerging web development technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Web Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and other front-end technologies
- Experience working with React or AngularJS is preferred
- Familiarity with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS or SASS is a plus
- Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that website designs will adhere to them
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet project deadlines
- Visa sponsorship available for non-EU candidates
