Network and Systems Administrator
Location: Almada, Portugal (open to all nationalities)
Salary: 1700 USD/month (negotiable based on experience)


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Almada. As a leading provider of technology solutions, we are committed to providing our clients with reliable and efficient network and system infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our company's network and systems, ensuring they are functioning at optimal levels.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software systems
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution
- Monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions
- Maintain security of network systems by implementing best practices and protocols
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and patches
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure smooth integration of new technologies into the existing infrastructure

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN etc.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems (Windows Server 2012/2016)
- Experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA or Fortinet) is preferred but not required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
