Location: Almada, Portugal
Salary: 1700$ per month (part-time)


We are seeking an experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Almada. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization environments. You will also be in charge of troubleshooting hardware and software issues and ensuring the security and efficiency of our network.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and administration
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)

Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain network hardware and software systems
- Troubleshoot network performance issues and outages
- Monitor system performance to ensure optimal efficiency
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus software, firewalls, etc.
- Implement security measures to protect data, software, and hardware from cyber threats
- Conduct regular data backups to prevent data loss in case of emergencies
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends
