Junior Front-End Developer (Almada, Portugal)

We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Front-End Developer to join our growing team in Almada, Portugal. As a Junior Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining user-facing features of our website. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$, and includes accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to create user-friendly interfaces
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize website performance
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to continually improve our website

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of front-end development principles and best practices
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with responsive design and CSS pre-processors (e.g. SASS)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g. React, Angular)
- Experience with UI/UX design
- Familiarity with back-end programming languages (e.g. PHP)
