Back-End Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Almada. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic of our web applications. Your primary focus will be ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our applications, as well as collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. You should have a strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby, as well as experience with databases and web development frameworks.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain server-side code for web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure high performance of web applications by conducting regular tests
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby
- Experience with databases (e.g. MySQL) and web development frameworks (e.g. Django)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Good communication skills

Salary: 1600$ per month

Location: Almada, Portugal
