Junior Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Almada. In this role, you will assist in developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to support our projects and products. This is a contract job with a salary of 900$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior engineers to understand project requirements and design machine learning solutions
- Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models using tools like Python, Tensorflow, and Keras
- Collaborate with data scientists to preprocess data and extract features for training models
- Monitor model performance and make necessary adjustments to improve accuracy
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning and suggest ways to incorporate them into our projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts such as supervised/unsupervised learning, regression/classification algorithms, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R or Java
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (Tensorflow, Keras) is a plus
- Knowledge of data preprocessing techniques (data cleaning, feature selection/extraction)
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
