Contract QA Engineer

A fast-growing software company in Almada is seeking a Contract QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in software testing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$ per month and includes accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans for new software releases
- Conduct manual and automated testing to identify bugs and defects
- Collaborate with development team to resolve issues and improve product quality
- Create detailed reports on test findings for management review
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for software testing

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred:
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
