Android Developer
Location: Almada, Portugal (Open to all nationalities)
Salary: $1700/month (negotiable based on experience)


We are a fast-growing tech company in Almada seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team on a contract basis. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with our development team to understand project requirements and translate them into functional and user-friendly mobile applications.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Android Developer or similar role
- Experience with Android SDK, Java, Kotlin, and/or C++
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Experience working with remote data via JSON or XML
- Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
