Junior Android Developer

We are currently seeking a motivated and talented Junior Android Developer to join our growing team in Almada. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced developers to design, develop, and maintain innovative and user-friendly mobile applications for the Android platform. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience in the field to gain valuable hands-on experience and grow their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Design and implement user-friendly interfaces for mobile applications
- Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code for Android applications
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure high-quality and bug-free applications
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of Java programming language
- Experience with Android Studio and Android SDK
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Passion for creating high-quality mobile applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing and publishing apps on Google Play Store
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Kotlin or C++
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is based in Almada, Portugal. Remote work options may be available depending on the candidate's location.
