Teamlead for Customer Support in Almada, Portugal
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teamlead to join our customer support team in Almada. As a Teamlead, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of customer support representatives to ensure efficient and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues. Your main goal will be to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of customer support representatives to achieve performance targets
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to improve efficiency and quality of service
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve complex issues in a timely manner
- Develop training programs and materials for new hires as well as ongoing training for existing team members
- Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Create reports on team performance, including KPIs, to senior management
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service or support role
- Proven experience in leading a team
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult or demanding customers
- Knowledge of call center software such as CRM systems
- Ability to work flexible hours
