Data Mining Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Almada. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns, trends and insights that can be used to inform business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting and organizing large sets of data from various sources
- Performing data mining techniques such as clustering, regression analysis, and decision trees to identify patterns and trends
- Utilizing statistical tools and methods to analyze the data
- Creating reports and visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide recommendations based on data analysis
- Monitoring data quality and identifying areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- Proven experience in data mining, analysis, and visualization techniques
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
- Familiarity with statistical tools such as SPSS or SAS
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner
