Data Mining Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Mining Analyst to join our growing team in Almada. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that will help inform important business decisions. This is a contract position without accommodation, but we do offer visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Gather data from various sources and organize it into usable formats
- Clean and validate data to ensure accuracy
- Use statistical software and programming languages to analyze data sets
- Identify patterns and trends in data and draw meaningful conclusions
- Create reports and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide insights for decision making
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in data mining or related role
- Proficiency in statistical software such as R or Python
- Experience with SQL databases and querying large datasets
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Preferred:
- Master's degree in Data Science or related field
- Experience with machine learning techniques
- Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Almada, Portugal (visa sponsorship available)
