Data Mining Analyst


We are searching for a highly skilled Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Almada. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide insights through data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics, experience with data mining tools and techniques, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources
- Develop and implement data mining algorithms to extract insights from the data
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify patterns and trends within the data
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide actionable insights through data analysis
- Create visualizations and reports to present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data mining or related field
- Proficiency with data mining tools such as SAS, R, or Python
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts such as regression analysis, clustering, and predictive modeling
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a simple manner
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets

Salary:
$1300 per month

Location:
Almada (remote work may be considered)
