Part-Time Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis in Almada. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases, ensuring data integrity and security, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. The ideal candidate will have experience working with biometric passports and must be able to work efficiently and meet urgent deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills to gain experience in the field of database administration.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the security and integrity of our company's databases
- Optimize database performance through regular maintenance and updates
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise with the databases
- Work with biometric passports to ensure accurate data entry
- Collaborate with other members of the IT team to implement new databases or make improvements to existing ones
- Monitor database usage and provide recommendations for improvement or expansion as needed
- Create and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Database Administrator
- Proficient in SQL and other database management systems
- Experience working with biometric passports preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Salary: $1600 per month (based on experience)

Location: Almada, Portugal (must be eligible to work in Portugal)
