Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain database software
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments
- Develop and implement backup and recovery plans
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions
- Create user accounts and manage user permissions
- Collaborate with other teams to identify data needs and develop solutions
- Ensure data security by implementing access controls and regularly monitoring for potential threats

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Database Administrator
- Proficient in SQL language
- Experience with database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server
- Knowledge of database architecture and design principles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams

Salary: $1700 per month

Location: This is an on-site position in Almada, however remote work options may be available during COVID-19 restrictions.
