Bilingual Interpreter



We are seeking a skilled Bilingual Interpreter to join our team in Almada! As a Bilingual Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. Your main responsibility will be to accurately interpret spoken communication between parties, ensuring that the intended message is conveyed clearly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an intermediary between individuals who speak different languages
- Listen carefully and interpret spoken communication accurately and objectively
- Understand cultural differences and adapt interpretation accordingly
- Ensure confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpretation depending on the situation
- Accurately convey tone, emotions, and nuances of the speaker's message
- Take notes or maintain records of conversations for reference
- May assist with written translation documents as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an interpreter or similar role
- Fluent in both English and at least one other language (Portuguese preferred)
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software programs

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Location: This position is located in Almada. However, we are open to candidates from other locations who are willing to relocate at their own expense.

Visa & Travel:
We offer free visa sponsorship for non-EU citizens. Additionally, we provide a one-time ticket allowance for relocation purposes.
