We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Almada. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for the layout and design of various print and digital materials, ensuring that all text and images are visually appealing and error-free.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with editors, designers, and authors to understand project requirements and create visually appealing layouts for books, magazines, brochures, and other publications
- Use specialized software to format text, insert images and graphics, and adjust page layouts
- Proofread materials to ensure accuracy in spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Collaborate with printers to ensure proper formatting for printing
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in typesetting

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficient in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field (preferred)

This position offers a salary of 1700$ per month, along with accommodation and visa sponsorship for non-local candidates. We welcome applicants of all levels of experience who possess the required skills and qualifications.
