Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content on our online platform, ensuring it aligns with our community guidelines
- Respond to user inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with the team to develop strategies for increasing user engagement and promoting a positive community culture
- Identify potential conflicts or issues within the community and address them promptly
- Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to online moderation
- Act as an ambassador for the community by promoting its values and mission
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an online moderator or similar role preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with empathy
- Familiarity with social media platforms, forums, or other online communities
- Strong understanding of online safety measures and privacy concerns
- Fluency in Portuguese (both written and spoken) is required; proficiency in English is a plus
