Facade Engineer - Almada, Portugal


We are a reputable construction company seeking a skilled Facade Engineer to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the exterior facades of our buildings, ensuring they are both functional and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative facade solutions for commercial and residential buildings
- Analyze building plans and advise on optimal facade designs that meet structural requirements, building codes, and aesthetic goals
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of facade designs
- Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of different facade options based on cost, durability, and sustainability
- Oversee facade installations and provide technical support to construction teams when needed
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that facades meet design specifications and safety standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in facade technology to continuously improve our designs

Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture with a focus on Facade Design or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in façade design for both new construction projects and renovations
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to façade design
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting

We offer a competitive salary package of $1000 per month for this contract position. We also provide visa sponsorship for international candidates.
