Experienced Turner in Almada, Portugal

We are currently seeking an experienced Turner to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathes and other machinery used to shape metal. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working as a Turner and be able to work efficiently and accurately with various types of metals.

Responsibilities:
- Operate lathe and other machinery to shape metal according to specifications
- Read blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine dimensions and tolerances
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy
- Inspect finished products for defects and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain machinery by cleaning, lubricating, and performing routine maintenance tasks
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working with machinery

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Turner
- Experience working with different types of metals such as steel, aluminum, or brass
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Good physical stamina and dexterity for operating machinery

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1500 per month.

This position is located in Almada, Portugal.
