Junior Civil Engineer



As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will work under the supervision of an experienced civil engineer to assist in the design, construction, and maintenance of various civil engineering projects. Based in Almada, Portugal, you will be responsible for conducting site investigations, performing calculations and analysis, and preparing reports and drawings. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site investigations to gather data for project planning
- Perform calculations and analysis for design proposals
- Prepare reports and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Assist in the preparation of technical specifications for construction materials
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior engineers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and health & safety standards
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a civil engineering role
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of legal regulations and health & safety standards
- Fluent in English (Portuguese language skills preferred)
