Industrial Alpinist in Almada, Portugal


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing rope access tasks at height for industrial and construction projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong climbing and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rope access tasks at height for industrial and construction projects
- Safely and efficiently use specialized equipment such as ropes, harnesses, ascenders, and descenders
- Inspect equipment regularly to ensure safety standards are met
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Complete reports and documentation as necessary

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Industrial Alpinist or in a similar role
- Certification in rope access techniques (e.g. SPRAT or IRATA)
- Strong physical fitness and endurance to perform tasks at height
- Familiarity with industrial or construction work environments preferred
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese language skills preferred)
- Valid work visa for Portugal (we offer assistance with obtaining this)
- Valid driver's license preferred
