Metal Fabricator

As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating, repairing, and installing metal structures and components. This includes reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting metal pieces, welding and soldering, and polishing finished products. You will also be required to use a variety of tools and equipment such as grinders, saws, shears, and press brakes.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of metalworking techniques and the ability to work with various types of metals such as steel, aluminum, and copper. Attention to detail is crucial in order to ensure precise measurements and accurate assembly. Additionally, you must have physical strength and stamina as the job requires lifting heavy materials.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications
- Measure and cut metal pieces according to specifications
- Use hand tools and machinery to shape metal pieces
- Weld or solder metal pieces together
- Smooth rough edges using grinders or files
- Inspect finished products for quality control
- Communicate with team members regarding progress or issues
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in metalworking or fabrication preferred
- Knowledge of various types of metals
- Proficient in reading blueprints
- Ability to use hand tools such as saws, grinders, shears
- Physical strength and stamina
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary: $1400/month
