We are in need of a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Almada. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders, to assist in construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to job requirements
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment
- Ensure proper grading and leveling of land for construction projects
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow
- Keep accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and production reports

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid heavy equipment operator license/certification
- Must be physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, maps, and other technical documents
- Strong communication skills
- Own transportation to job sites

This is a contract position with a salary of $1300 per month. Accommodation is not provided. Preference will be given to candidates with their own visa or citizenship in Almada. This is also a suitable job for students looking for practical experience in the construction industry.
