We are in need of a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Contract Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes to assist with construction projects.

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid operator's license/certification
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Physical strength and stamina to work in various weather conditions and operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate heavy equipment according to project specifications and instructions
- Inspect machinery before use and report any malfunctions or defects immediately
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures while operating machinery
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operation and completion of projects
- Complete daily logs/reports on equipment usage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur

We offer competitive salary of 1100$ per week for this contract position. This is an urgent job opening, so we require someone who can start immediately.
