Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders. You will be working in the city of Almada, operating equipment on construction sites, mining operations, or other projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Communicate with team members to coordinate work tasks
- Ensure proper care and storage of equipment when not in use
- Complete daily logs and reports as required
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends if necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating specific types of heavy equipment (e.g. bulldozers, excavators)
- Trade certification in heavy equipment operation or related field
- Experience working on construction sites or in mining operations

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
