Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Equipment Operator in Almada, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes. Your main duty will be to safely and efficiently move materials, load and unload trucks, and perform other construction-related tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Load and unload materials onto trucks
- Move materials around construction site as needed
- Complete daily safety checklists
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid heavy equipment operator certification
- Knowledge of safety protocols for operating heavy machinery
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and plans
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills

Salary: $1700 per month
