Senior Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Almada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture and design, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of various projects, ensuring that they meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other team members to create innovative and functional designs that exceed expectations. The ability to effectively communicate ideas and collaborate with others is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of the design process, from concept development to project completion
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop designs that meet their requirements
- Create detailed architectural drawings using CAD software
- Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues that may arise
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and building codes to ensure designs comply with current standards
- Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on complex projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an architect
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other architectural software
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Salary: $1700/month
Location: Almada (open to candidates from any nationality)
