Fitter AssistantJob Description:

We are currently hiring for a skilled and motivated Fitter Assistant to join our team in Almada. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced fitters in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various mechanical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist fitters in the installation and repair of mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, and machinery
- Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Help troubleshoot and identify issues with mechanical systems
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
- Safely handle tools and equipment used in fitter work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a related field is preferred but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn on the job
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
