Fitter Technician



As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of various machinery and tools. This role is based in Almada, Portugal and requires a biometric passport for travel purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install new mechanical systems and equipment according to blueprints and technical specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical issues that may arise
- Use precision tools to measure, cut, and shape materials for assembly
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to identify areas for improvement in mechanical systems
- Keep accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and installations
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while working on equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, tools, and materials
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Team player with good communication skills

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1600$ per month.
