Floral Designer


As a Floral Designer in our busy and creative florist shop in Almada, you will have the opportunity to use your artistic skills to create beautiful and unique arrangements for various occasions and events. You will be responsible for designing, arranging, and managing floral displays, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create stunning floral arrangements using a variety of flowers, foliage, and other materials
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and offer suggestions for suitable designs
- Prepare purchase orders for flowers and supplies, ensuring timely delivery
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop, including proper storage of flowers and tools
- Handle sales transactions and assist with inventory management
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in the floral industry and incorporate them into your designs
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or issues promptly

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floral Designer or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of different types of flowers, their characteristics, care instructions, and seasonal availability
- Strong artistic skills with an eye for color, texture, and composition
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical fitness to handle long periods of standing, lifting heavy objects, bending, and reaching
- Previous experience in a fast-paced retail environment is preferred
Salary: 1100$ per month
Contract job: This is a contract position with flexible working hours.
Location: Almada
Visa Sponsorship: The company will sponsor a work visa for non-EU residents if needed.
Accommodation: This is a non-live-in position. Accommodation is not provided.
