Part-Time Restaurant Manager
Location: Almada, Portugal (Preference for Portuguese Nationals)


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team on a part-time basis in Almada, Portugal. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction. This position requires excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as strong knowledge of restaurant management techniques and industry trends. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, be able to work independently and have a passion for providing exceptional hospitality. Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations
- Train, develop and lead a team of servers, bartenders and kitchen staff
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet company standards
- Maintain inventory levels and control costs to maximize profitability
- Oversee financial transactions and ensure accurate record keeping
- Develop strategies to increase revenue and improve overall performance
- Handle customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Implement health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment

Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and restaurant management best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays as needed
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
- Fluency in Portuguese is preferred but not required
