Temporary Restaurant Manager
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Temporary Restaurant Manager to join our team in Almada. This is a temporary position with the potential for permanent employment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in restaurant management and be able to lead and motivate a team. As this is a temporary role, you will need to be able to adapt quickly to new environments and have excellent time management skills. You will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the restaurant, including overseeing staff, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and standards
- Monitor quality of food and service, addressing any issues that may arise
- Create schedules for staff and ensure adequate coverage during busy periods
- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
- Oversee financial aspects such as budgeting, cost control, and revenue management
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Must have legal authorization to work in Almada temporarily
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
Salary:
$1300 per month
