Entry-Level Restaurant Manager



We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Entry-Level Restaurant Manager to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As an Entry-Level Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food quality and service.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including managing staff, scheduling shifts, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train and mentor new employees on company policies, procedures, and standards
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and communication among staff members
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
- Address customer concerns and resolve any issues in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain high standards of food quality by conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions when necessary
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Prepare reports on sales data, budgeting, staffing, and other performance metrics for management review

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Previous experience in the food service industry is a plus but not required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with both staff members and customers
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to obtain own visa for work in Portugal
- Accommodation provided

Salary: 1400$ per month.
