Contract Electrician in Almada


We are a construction company based in Almada seeking a qualified and experienced electrician to join our team on a contract basis. As an electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in various buildings and structures.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical wiring and equipment
- Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems
- Identify electrical problems with testing devices
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
- Follow safety standards and regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other construction professionals such as plumbers, HVAC technicians, and carpenters
- Keep records of work performed and materials used
- Provide excellent customer service to clients

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an electrician in the construction industry
- Valid certification as an electrician from a recognized institution
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations in Portugal
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills in Portuguese (English proficiency is a plus)
- Own transportation to job sites
