We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. The ideal candidate should have a strong culinary background and be able to lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and create seasonal menus that align with the restaurant's concept and vision
- Ensure high-quality ingredients are used in all dishes and maintain proper food costing
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking techniques and presentation
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to meet demand
- Monitor food costs and budget to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other departments such as front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and plating techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating innovative dishes while also taking into consideration guest preferences
- Strong understanding of food cost control measures
- Fluent in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)

Salary: 1300$ per month
