Crane Operator


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Almada. As a member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for operating the crane to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on our job sites.

Responsibilities:
- Operate the crane in a safe and efficient manner, following all safety protocols and guidelines
- Perform daily inspections of the crane and report any issues to the supervisor
- Coordinate with other crew members to ensure materials are lifted and positioned correctly
- Maintain accurate records of materials lifted, distances traveled, and time spent on tasks
- Communicate effectively with ground crew using hand signals and/or radio communication
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly
- Follow all regulations and guidelines for operating cranes as set by local authorities

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a crane operator in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid biometric passport (or ability to obtain one)
- Physically fit with the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Fluent in Portuguese (English proficiency is a plus)
- Preference for male candidates due to physical demands of the role

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1300 per month, with opportunities for growth within the company.

This position is based in Almada, Portugal.
