Junior Crane Operator

We are in need of a Junior Crane Operator to join our team in Almada. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment. This is an entry-level position that does not require prior experience as we provide on-the-job training.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes including tower, mobile, and overhead cranes
- Inspect equipment before use and report any defects or malfunctions
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe work environment
- Communicate with ground crew to ensure proper positioning and movement of materials
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each job
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of crane operations and safety procedures is preferred but not required
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments for extended periods of time
