Merchandiser Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Merchandiser Assistant to join our team in Almada. As a Merchandiser Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the merchandising team in coordinating and implementing visual displays, product placement, and promotional strategies to increase sales and enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and maintaining visual displays in accordance with company guidelines and standards
- Coordinate with the merchandising team to ensure proper product placement and inventory levels
- Keep track of stock levels and assist in inventory management
- Monitor product performance and make recommendations for improvements or changes
- Conduct market research to identify current trends and customer preferences
- Assist in planning and executing promotional events or campaigns
- Work closely with the marketing department to develop effective promotional materials and signage
- Provide excellent customer service by answering any questions or concerns related to product positioning or displays

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in retail, visual merchandising, or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

This is a part-time position with a salary of $1300 per month. Accommodation may be provided for the right candidate.
