Waiter/Waitress


We are seeking a friendly and experienced waiter/waitress to join our team at a busy restaurant in Almada. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and be able to provide excellent customer service while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers, take food and drink orders, and serve meals in a timely manner
- Understand the menu offerings and make recommendations to customers based on their preferences
- Ensure all orders are accurate and delivered promptly
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and patience
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including tables, chairs, floors, and restrooms
- Assist with restocking supplies and inventory management as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Process payments accurately using POS system

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in hospitality is a plus
- Proven experience as a waiter/waitress in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
