Land Surveyor
The Land Surveyor will be responsible for conducting surveys and creating detailed maps and reports of land, using various tools and equipment. This individual will work closely with construction teams, engineers, and other professionals to gather data and ensure accuracy of measurements. They must have a strong understanding of surveying principles and techniques, as well as proficiency in using surveying software and equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys to determine boundaries, topographical features, and other land characteristics
- Use surveying tools such as GPS systems, total stations, and levels to measure distances and elevations
- Prepare detailed reports, maps, and charts based on survey data
- Analyze survey data to identify discrepancies or potential issues
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure accurate placement of structures on land
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on survey progress
- Stay current with industry developments in technology, regulations, and techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Land Surveyor
- Proficiency in using surveying software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to land surveying
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Strong communication skills for working with team members and clients
- Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Salary: $1800 per month
Location: Almada
