Caregiver for Elderly in Almada, Portugal



We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide in-home care for elderly individuals in the city of Almada, Portugal. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders. You will also provide companionship and emotional support to promote the well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if needed.
- Administer medication reminders as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.
- Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to the appropriate parties.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as required.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Caregiver or similar role is preferred.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with elderly individuals.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Must be physically able to perform caregiving duties including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Almada, Portugal.
