Part-time Hotel Sales Manager
Responsible for driving sales and revenue for the hotel through proactive marketing, lead generation, and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in hotel sales and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Must be able to work part-time hours, including some evenings and weekends. Accommodation is provided for those who require it. This position welcomes applications from all genders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals
- Identify potential clients and establish relationships to generate leads
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Create and maintain a customer database
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the game
- Prepare reports on sales performance and present to management
- Assist with budget planning for marketing initiatives
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel sales or a related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Knowledge of local market trends and competitors is an asset
Salary: $1400 per month (based on part-time hours)
Location: Almada, Portugal (accommodation provided if needed)
