Hotel Sales Manager
We are hiring a talented and motivated Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Almada. As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing sales and revenue for the hotel through effective marketing strategies and relationship building with clients. Your main goal will be to increase occupancy and profitability by attracting new business and maintaining existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Identify potential clients and build strong relationships with them
- Respond to inquiries and negotiate contracts with clients
- Coordinate sales activities with other departments within the hotel
- Attend industry events and network to promote the hotel
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for business growth
- Create promotional materials and packages to attract new customers
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in hotel sales or a similar role (without experience is also welcome)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Valid work permit/visa (without accommodation provided)
