A reputable construction company in Malindi is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and a passion for creating high-quality, custom woodwork. Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood pieces to construct various structures including furniture, cabinets, doors, and building frameworks
- Read blueprints and follow specifications to ensure accurate and precise work
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floors, and trim
- Utilize hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Inspect materials for defects or imperfections before starting work
- Collaborate with other team members on projects as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines

Preferred:
- Certification in Carpentry from a vocational school or apprenticeship program
- Experience working on both residential and commercial projects

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Malindi (preference for local candidates)
