Executive Chef
The Alpina Hotel in Bansko, Pakistan is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining high quality standards. You will also be responsible for managing and training kitchen staff, as well as ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Manage inventory and maintain appropriate levels of food and supplies
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation
- Monitor food quality and ensure adherence to recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with other departments and interact with customers
- High level of creativity to develop new dishes while also adhering to established menu items
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary: $1000 per month
Preferred nationality: Pakistani
Language requirement: English proficiency preferred but not required.
Experience requirement: Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef.
Education requirement: Culinary degree preferred but not required.
Note: This position is open to graduates who have equivalent experience in a similar role.
