Excavator Operator



We are searching for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Utena, Kenya. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently to assist with various construction projects. Your duties will include excavating, leveling, and moving earth and other materials as needed. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and maps
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other structures as needed
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks using the excavator
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety procedures at all times while operating the excavator
- Communicate effectively with other team members to coordinate work tasks
- Keep records of daily activities including equipment usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance performed
