Welder - Siauliai, Lithuania
We are hiring a skilled welder to join our team in Siauliai, Lithuania. As a welder, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, using welding equipment to create metal structures, and ensuring the quality and safety of all welded materials. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in welding and be familiar with different welding techniques. This position is suitable for Malayalee applicants who are fluent in English and do not require accommodation or visa sponsorship. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the specifications of the project
- Use various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding to join metals
- Operate welding equipment including gas torches, electric arc welders, and plasma cutters
- Inspect completed work for quality and ensure it meets safety standards
- Maintain a safe working environment by following proper procedures and wearing protective gear
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within deadlines
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment or materials as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a welder or completion of a vocational training program in welding
- Familiarity with different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Arc)
- Ability to read blueprints and understand specifications
- Knowledge of safety protocols for handling equipment and working with hazardous materials
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work
- Physical stamina and strength to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
- Good communication skills in English
